Star Wars: Force Collection

Seems pretty much everyone with a Star Wars license is honoring Star Wars Day (May the Fourth) with some kind of sale or giveaway, and that includes Konami. The developer will be gifting a special in-game 5-Star character card to all players of their Star Wars: Force Collection card battle game.

The celebratory gift will be available to all current Star Wars: Force Collection accounts created before May 4th, 2014, at 11:59 pm (PDT). So long as you qualify, you’ll just have to log in after May 4th to receive it.

Now, about the game:

Star Wars: Force Collection puts players in command of more than 300 heroes, villains, and vehicles from Star Wars Episodes I-VI. Players will cross the Star Wars galaxy completing quests, fighting battles, and collecting powerful cards and upgrades. As players progress, their actions will determine whether they join and fight on the light or dark side of the Force™ during global player events.

Konami has also published an infographic detailing many of the gameplay statistics generated since the game launched in selected countries in September 2013. For instance, iOS gamers barely outnumber Android gamers (51 to 49%), and the light side of the force outnumbers the dark side (62 to 38%). Coincidence? I think not. And as for most popular leaders, Yoda tops the list, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Darth Vader trailing in that order. I’m assuming that’s adult Darth Vader, not the annoying younger version.

Anyway, to get your character card, grab the game now for iOS or Android.
