Over the past few days (and weeks…and months), we’ve seen several mockup images and dummy units of the alleged iPhone 6 floating all across the Internet. It was even available for “sale” at one website in China. The leaks are only going to increase, especially when it comes to iPhone 6’s size, which will allegedly bring it up to par with the Android devices in the market.
Recently, the well known Sonny Dickson (the same guy who leaked several iPhone and iPad components last year), posted some images of an alleged iPhone 6 dummy on Twitter. The images show the front and back of the device, which look similar to the other leaked image we’ve seen recently. The handset posted on Twitter is the space gray version—it seems Apple will continue to follow the same color options as last year’s iPhone 5s, but it might a little different this year.
As you can see in the image, the alleged iPhone 6 is thinner than its predecessor, with strange black lines at the back of the device. Additionally, it seems there will be a protruding camera as rumored before due to the fact that the camera models are thicker than the device Apple plans to launch.
Apple is rumored to be working on two iPhones with display sizes of 4.7 and 5.5 inches. The 5.5-inch iPhone is expected to be delayed due to production issues with the device, and may launch next year, while the 4.7-inch version is expected to launch this fall, possibly in September. The latest version is rumored to come with A8 processor, an improved camera, and the new iOS 8 as its operating system.
