Short history – Ecto a small desktop blogging app that allows you to write blog posts offline, then connect to your blogging platform and upload posts. A lot of professional bloggers use Ecto as it is a really big time saver when updating multiple blogs.
Version 3 will include a slew of updates including connectivity to different platforms, which was a large problem in previous Ecto releases. The alpha also features a brand new UI. Ecto3 is built from the ground up, so it was completely redesigned and rebuilt.
