Not too long ago, Taiwanese actor / race car driver Jimmy Lin managed to grab the attention of Apple fans by posting an image of what appeared to be a 4.7-inch iPhone 6. Some reports claimed it’s an authentic iPhone 6 beta unit shipped to various countries across the globe. Now, Mr. Lin is back with more, posting another image of what appears to be the 5.5-inch iPhone 6.
For those of you who don’t know, Lin is the same guy who posted an image of the iPhone 5c before its official announcement.
Lin posted an image on Weibo of himself repairing an iPhone, but that’s not the surprising part. In the image above, you’ll find a gigantic iPhone 6 resting on the table. Yes, it could be a dummy unit, but considering Lin’s history, it could also be the real deal. The description along with the image said he’s repairing his friend’s iPhone which was run over by a car.
Apple is rumored to be working on two new iPhones, but that’s not the reason media is buzzing; Apple may have finally decided to bump up the iPhone screen size to match the current market, where handsets are getting bigger day-by-day.
The alleged iPhone 6 is said to come with an A8 processor, QHD display, a better camera, fingerprint sensor, and iOS 8 as its operating system. Rumors also point to a 5.5-inch iPhone 6 with a sapphire glass display.
Apple is expected to take the wraps off its latest iPHone in September, when we’ll find out if these rumors are correct.
