School is back in session, and you know what that means…Halloween! If you’re already starting to plan your horror festivals, you might want to consider a new game for Mac, PC and Linux this year. Doorways: The Underworld arrives September 17, and will be playable as a stand-alone game or as the continuation of the atmospheric horror series.
What’s the game about? Well, take a look at the trailer and see:
Actually, maybe that wasn’t much help, unless the game’s about dirty hallways and old-timey typerwriter documents. Maybe this description from the press release will make things more clear:
Prized for their psychic abilities, the agents of Doorways are charged with tempting the thresholds of sanity to hunt down the most depraved criminals, but Thomas Foster may have stepped too close to the edge. Confused, his memories riddled with holes, Foster’s only option is to go deeper in search of his next target: The Surgeon.
Featuring the voice talents of Sam A. Mowry (Alexander in Amnesia: The Dark Descent), Doorways: The Underworld is the latest atmospheric horror game from Argentinian developer, Saibot Studios. Doorways: The Underworld is coming to PC, Mac, and Linux, and features Oculus Rift support (for the bravely masochistic).
Man…Oculus Rift? That’d be creepy as hell.
Doorways: The Underworld is available for pre-order on Steam for $7.49—a 25% discount from the normal price.
