Apple releases 15-inch MacBook Pro and iMac with Retina Display

Apple has just introduced the latest models of the 15-inch MacBook Pro and iMac. The MacBook is now equipped with Force Touchpad, faster flash storage, longer battery life and faster discrete graphics. If you go that route, you’ll be enjoying better performance and capabilities, provided you’re willing to spend $1,999.99.

For that price, you’ll get a 2.2 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo boost speeds up to 3.4 GHz, 16GB of memory, 512GB of flash storage, and AMD Radeon R9 M370X graphics. If you want the more powerful 2.5GHz processor and up to 3.7GHz turbo speeds, youll have to spend $2,499 for the high-end model.

Along with the new MacBook Pro, Apple also introduced the new 5k iMac with Retina display. This hardworking machine comes packed with a 5,120 x 2,880 resolution display, a 3.3 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Speeds up to 3.7 GHz and AMD Radeon R9 M290 graphics. It also comes with 8GB of memory, 1TB of storage, USB 3.0 ports and two Thunderbolt 2 ports. The entry level iMac with Retina 5K display retails for $1,999, while the top-end model retails for $2,999.
