Jumptuit has released the first app for the smart TV that gives users instant big screen access to personal media scattered across various devices and cloud services. The Jumptuit TV interface is integrated with voice search and designed to optimize the smart TV experience while granting immediate access to pictures, videos and music stored in different, previously incompatible places.
The app is designed for the convenience of a vast majority of consumers who are multi-platform and use some combination of Apple, Google Android and Microsoft Windows devices along with a variety of cloud services like Amazon Cloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. Created to make life easier for this cohort, Jumptuit provides users with single-point access and one search box to instantly retrieve pictures, videos and music from various locations in the Cloud. Further, Jumptuit offers consumers unlimited storage to access and stream all of their media without charge.
Donald Leka, Founder and CEO of Jumptuit, explained, “Today, consumers face the challenge of keeping track of their files across devices and cloud services. Jumptuit lifts consumers above the clouds and puts them in control of their digital lives.”
Jumptuit TV is initially available as a native Android Lollipop App on Sony, Vizio, Philips, and Sharp smart TVs through the Google Play Store. Jumptuit TV can also be installed from the Google Play Store on set top boxes including the Google Nexus Player. Versions for OS X and iOS are “coming soon”.
“The ideal digital life is at your fingertips,” continued Leka. “Jumptuit makes it easy to use the combination of cloud services and devices that you want based on ease of use, features, compatibility and privacy policies.”
Jumptuit functions as a “connector” of cloud services and devices and is designed to provide consumers with a consistent and seamless experience across platforms to access and stream their media. Jumptuit supports Android, iOS, Mac OS X and Windows 8.1. In addition, Jumptuit supports leading cloud services including Amazon Cloud Drive, Box, Dropbox, Facebook, Flickr, Google Drive, Instagram, Microsoft OneDrive, Photobucket, Picasa, SoundCloud, Spotify, Vimeo, Xbox Live and YouTube.
