Folks at the Church by the Glades in Florida must be really displeased at the lack of spirituality in the west, so they’ve “gone where no one (other church) has gone before”. The church has organized seminars for the next three weeks, dubbed “i:Living in a Self-Absorbed World”, where Pastor David Hughes will be talking about avoiding the self-absorbed mentality.
To encourage non-believers to turn up, they’re offering a $15 iTunes voucher, which should buy you roughly 15 songs (depending whether you choose DRM-free or not) or an album. If you thought bringing your entire family will get you more gift cards, it’s only limited to one per family. I wonder how many non-believers will actually turn up?
