Refurbished iPhone For those of you who thought they would wait for the iPhone to come down in price before you buy, your time may have come sooner than you thought. Apple now has the iPhone available on the Special Deals section of the online store. You can pick up an 8GB iPhone for $499 (down from $599) and a 4GB iPhone for $399 (down from $499). Each model is expected to ship 1-3 business days after purchase.

Different people I know have had different experiences with the refurb store, so you never know what you could end up with. If you have been waiting for an iPhone price drop, this may be as good as it gets for now. You could even get your discounted iPhone and unlock it with the various methods available. Don’t hesitate though, as I am sure these will sell off pretty quickly, and you never know when the refurb store might be replenished.
