It seems since the launch of the iPhone that one of the big items on everyones list is to have some games. The arcade game emulator MAME is making its way onto the iPhone. Granted at this time it is still lacking in performance, but at least its a start. Currently Pac-Man and Q*Bert are running well, but other games like Galaga are still suffering from frame skipping and bad sound quality.
CURRENT STATUS: As expected, performance is an issue.
Only time (and hard work) will tell if this project will result in a playable version in the end. According to the status on the Google Code page we not only have to consider performance but also control issues.
