Leopard Stacks

It looks like Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.2 might include a little more than just some simple bug fixes. Some of the complaints with Leopard have actually been addressed by the Leopard Development Team. Apple has heard our prayers. According to a “source”, who has access to the latest 10.5.2 seed that was seeded to developers this week, Apple has also fixed Stacks in Leopard. Previously, in Tiger, if you had a folder in the Dock, you could view the folder hierarchy, and navigate through your whole HD. This feature was replaced by Stacks, touting grid mode and fan mode. But users complained about the lack of functionality. In 10.5.2, there is a new way to view Stacks. List mode. This will allow Stacks to work very similar to how they worked in Tiger, but with even more features. You can view the contents of a folder through a hierarchy, as well as choose to sort by date, name, or kind. Thank you Apple, for actually listening to us (for once).
