It began back in September of 2006 when Apple began shipping iPods without iTunes in the box. This was because Apple was trying to cut down their packaging size. Instead of getting iTunes on a CD, users would just have to download it free from the Internet. As the iPod continues to grow in it’s popularity, more and more users are beginning to use iTunes for the first time. So Apple has just posted 8 short video iTunes Tutorials. These videos walk through downloading and installing the program, as well as ripping from CDs, making playlists, buying from the iTunes Store, and syncing to the iPod. These videos are opbviously not for the techie person, but they are good for beginners. In the future, Apple may even include the link to the iTunes Tutorials in an email sent to registered iPod users, or even in the box with the iPod.
