Tuesday at the Macworld Expo, Equinux made their first foray into the Mac OS X TV receiver market with their TubeStick Hybrid product.
The USB TV receiver allows you to watch, pause, and record live TV from your Mac, iPod, or iPhone. Included with each TubeStick is software that allows you to chat with other TubeStick users during a show. With TubeToGo, users can watch recorded TV on their iPods or iPhones.
Equinux CEO Till Schadde:
The TubeStick has 2 built in reciever, allowing users to watch a variety of signals: free-to-air HDTV, in addition to digital and analog Cable.
TubeStick Hybrid will be available at Apple Stores and the equinux online store starting in February, priced at $129.
