Skitch beta now open to the public

Skitch is one of my most-used apps. It’s purpose is simple but very useful: To take a snapshot of your screen and upload it to the internet very quickly and easily. The Skitch.com website is great for uploading your Skitches to – although Skitch also gives you the option to use other services like Flickr or even your own server via FTP.

I was lucky enough that one of my friends could invite me to the Skitch private beta – but now the whole world can experience just how great this app is. This isn’t your typical beta either, I haven’t experienced any major bugs at all – and the website is just as smooth. This app will really come useful to you at some point, even if you don’t think you’ll ever need it. People that are constantly IM’ing friends will find this as a great tool, too.
