Another feature is the addition of sounds to go with the videos. Gentle, ambient sounds that should help you relax – while still not distracting your work. Of course, if you do find it hard to concentrate with video playing on your desktop, you can always turn it off and set it as a screen saver instead – where it looks equally as stunning. “Auto Serenity” mode lets you enforce work breaks by having your documents temporarily disappear at set intervals so you can focus on the soothing scenes instead of your company’s financial statement. That feature reminds me of the app I used to use for breaks, Time Out; except with Serene Saver, you get calming videos instead of a message appear on your screen. Overall this looks like a good app, but running high resolution videos in the background of doing other things may slow you down if you’re running an older Mac, or one with a lower-end video card.
