The band Linkin Park has been enlisted to play at an Apple corporate event, according to a blog post on the band’s website. The band’s Mike Shinoda revealed the concert to fans Monday in a blog post, in which he also acknowledged the band’s recent ECHO award.
today, we won our second german “echo” award! for those of you in the US, this is the equivalent of the grammy. thanks Germany!
In other news, we’re in the middle of the tour with coheed and cambria and chiodos. it’s going great—those guys put on a great show. looking forward to our first show at madison square garden this week (sold out)! also, look forward to a special show that we’re doing in NYC in conjunction with apple…shh…it’s a secret…[emphasis mine]
