American Idol performances now available exclusively on Apple’s iTunes Store

The popular television show American Idol has now come exclusively on Apple’s iTunes Store. Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox Interactive Media, 19 Entertainment, FremantleMedia and Apple have teamed up to bring musical fans on Apple iTunes Store the performances from the 7th Season of “television’s most popular.” The Top 24 semi finalists of American Idol this week will have their performances released on iTunes, where customers may purchase them for a mere 99 cents. In addition, you will be able to purchase a full video of the Top 12 finalists performances for $1.99

“We’ve created a special section on the iTunes Store for ‘Idol’ fans with an incredible array of music and video performances from television’s most popular show,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s vice president of iTunes

This new partnership with Fox and Apple will begin on March 11, but you can already pre order your favorite contestants from the iTunes Store, which will be automatically downloaded the day after the show airs.
