MacBook Air selling out

If you thought the MacBook Air would be a flop, with no optical drive and small hard drive space, you may have guessed wrong. The MacBook Air has been selling quite well, and even been difficult to purchase in certain markets. For the standard model of the new and thin laptop, Apple is still assuming a minimum shipping time or 5 – 7 business days. Amazon also won’t be shipping orders until March 16, and Best Buy doesn’t have too many either. Ken Fisher has said that “Apple has kept them pretty thin on stock.”
Apple has been restocking on the MacBook Airs as fast as they could with the iPhones. Will they need to keep this up in the future or is it just new product hype?
