While the iPhone is in quite a few countries, China is one they’ve left out. Apple is expected to start selling the new smart-phone new many new international markets to reach the goal of 10 million iPhones by the end of 2008. Without the iPhone in China, many analysts, have questioned if Apple will reach its goal. Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook says stated the following during the annual meeting.
“We will enter Asia with the iPhone in 2008… we will one day enter China, we’re not saying when, and we will one day enter India,” Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook said.
There are already an estimated 400 000 iPhones unlocked in China, so the Chinese seem to like the device.
