Social updating has been increasing in popularity over the past year, with Twitter, Pownce, Jaiku and Facebook. This form of micro-blogging has become so popular with so many different services to update your status with and share information. The fix for this problem is MoodBlast. Moodblast lets you blast (or spam) all of your friends, no matter what network they use. This handy and convenient Mac app currently has support for blasting your status to Skype, iChat, Adium, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook and now Pownce.
In the most recent major release of MoodBlast, 3.0, the UI was was rewritten and had vastly improved performance. MoodBlast 3.1 brings, support for Pownce, but also some bug fixes. Pownce enables you to share a variety of different message styles, and this app supports links, without you having to choose which type of message you are blasting.
MoodBlast 3.1 is a great update for all of you micro-bloggers, and is donationware from Circle Six Design.
