iPhone"

The old saying “Any Press is Good Press” may not apply to Apple this time. AppleInsider thinks that the large amount of interest in the iPhone SDK has been presenting challenges. Craig Hockenberry of the Iconfactory says that his support question of the SDK has gone unanswered for weeks now. Can Apple really not just expand to meet developer and customer needs, is this so big of an issue.

Whether Apple will expand enough or not, BusinessWeek reported that this issue hasn’t been a problem for all developers as most will use forums to get answers to their questions. The venture capitalist behind the iFund has also been said that it is so flooded with proposals that it may have to put more money into the SDK. $100 million is quite a bit of funding, if they’re needing more than this, the iPhone SDK has a very bright future. All Apple needs to do right now is expand to match the needs of the developers so they will develop enough apps to make this a profitable business.
