Photo of back of Apple’s next-gen iPhone leaked?

Rumors of a 3G iPhone have been floating around for…as long as we can remember, and we now have an image of what may be the next generation of the iPhone. iPodObserver.com claims to have a source which has showed them the iPhone which sports a shiny and glossy black back, replacing the satin nickel found on the current model. If you look closely you can see the ’8GB’ writing picture, which means that Apple may still sell a 8GB model. The new look of the iPhone doesn’t have the black plastic end piece that covers the antenna. We must heed that this is a rumour and doesn’t at all guarantee that we will see any iPhone 2 by any means. However, it would be a good time to put out a new generation as we haven’t seen a second model yet.

Does this picture look real to you?

  1. I do agree, it doesn't look too "Appleish", but we'll just have to see!

And thanks for letting me know about the typo :)

  2. I don't think that's white, it looks silver to me. Maybe by redesigning the case in this way will allow you to upgrade your battery on your own?

  3. This is an iphone somebody went away and had it profeesionally painted the way they wanted it. This is NOT the 2nd iphone. You guys have it all wrong. Apple will probably stay with the current design. The next iphone will not look like this. It isnt a case. Some one custimized it.

  6. I don't think Apple would ever put a huge white Apple logo on the back of a black device. Nah, that looks fake, or, just an iPhone in an ugly case.

Oh, and it's iPodObserver not iPodOberver. ;)
