AtomicView Digital Asset ManagerFor those in the look out for a powerful digital asset manager for their Macs, AntZero’s AtomicView asset manager might actually be what you’ve been looking for. AtomicView offers unlimited organization of photos, images, videos and sounds through the active use of the Mac’s GPU. This allows fast and fluid file scrolling through the power of multi-processor and multi-core systems such as those employed on Mac machines.

AtomicView is also a great tool for previewing your digital files in either fullscreen or slideshow mode. It also allows for rapid and effective navigation of files through a facility which lets you “fly over” a file and you can have a quick preview of what and how that file looks like. When displaying in large view, AtomicView also lets you preview selected images side by side to determine which image is better than the other.

In addition, and perhaps the coolest feature of AtomicView is its ability to play up to four movie files simultaneously. This would come in handy when you are working on several video clips to have them integrated under one file. AtomicView media manager also supports EXIC, IPTC, XMP metadata aside from offering hierarchical organization, smart groups, xml import/export of the database, Boolean search function and batch functions.

You can have this software running on your machine for $150 and it is available at AntZero’s site.
