LG starts shipping 3 home theather systems for the iPod

For those who have been toying with the idea of using their iPods for home entertainment purposes but are undecided on which system to get, LG is giving us 3 options to answer this need. These systems are the LG LHT888, LHT 874 and LHT 854. Let me warn you though that because of their seemingly great features, you might still find a hard time deciding on which of the three to get.

Spearheading these troika of LG home entertainment systems is the LHT888 which is capable of giving out 5.1-channel surround with 700-watt of power and wireless rear channels. This baby can be put into a good use for playing videos as it is capable of upscaling videos up to 1080p through its HDMI connect. In addition, it also supports CEC multi-device control when attached to Blu-ray players, TVs and other devices.

Next we also have the LHT874 and LHT854 which are both toned down version of the LHT888. But that doesn’t mean that these two models are far inferior than the LHT888 in terms of features. Certainly not, as most of the advanced features of the LHT888 are also in these two systems. What differentiates these two from the LHT888 are the floorstanding speakers setup of the LHT874 for its front channels while its rear speakers sport the wireless setup and the all-wired arrangement of the LHT854.
