What happened? Four teens in Palo Alto have been officially banned from all Apple Stores. How long? Forever. Wow, let’s just take a moment to consider how hard that must be…
Alright, time’s up. The reason for this banishment according to the Palo Alto Daily News is that the teens downloaded an unnoficial, third party car racing game called Raging Thunder at Apple’s University Avenue Store. After being detained for two and half hours, the teens were supposedly told they were not ever welcome in another Apple Store. That’s harsh, but what do the teens have to say?
“I can’t walk down University Avenue without going in there,” said senior Daniel Fukuba. “I’ll have to get a friend to buy stuff for me, like a drug deal.”
“We thought that it was completely harmless,” Eric Vicenti said “I’m not going to take it out on Steve Jobs or anything.”
However, some questions still remain. Have you ever played Raging Thunder, and is it worth getting kicked out of an Apple Store? Why was Apple so harsh to these teens when I’m sure it has happened at other Apple Stores all over the world? Are they seriously banned forever? Let us know what you think of all this.

I think that what got them banned was not the fact that they downloaded the game but that they first Jailbroke it.
I have seen much worse things happen. I have seen people put 2girls1cup on the screen and walk around the store.
if Apple has such good internal security, how was something like this allowed to happen in the first place? The permanent ban has the oder of cult ex-communication about it. Why not have the boys do community service that serves Apple?
I would sue them for sure…
If they don't want people to download shit on their computers they could have prevented this. You can not detain someone for this stupid thing… They took off their dignity and liberty for two hours and a half… now apple has to give an explanation, and a court would be a nice place to do it.
So now they will tell everyone entering at their stores not to download things on those super-secure-virus-free macs.

OK! ban all the IP addresses from the server so that people could enter just to authorized websites.
This guys can tell they just wanted to ¨test drive¨ the stupid computer before buying it.. and sue them.
I never even thought about that, that could/would be much worse in my opinion.
