If you love security and Leopard, you’ll love this

Hot on the tail of a recent Leopard point upgrade (10.5.3), Apple has come out with a rather large Security Configuration PDF (3.4MB PDF) for Mac OS X Leopard. Coming in at 13 chapters and 240 pages of security packed information, this is great for both IT people and everyday users who want to learn more about how secure their system is. This PDF discusses everything from installation and encryption to the more advanced SSH and Firewall systems.

So, if you walk around with a tin foil hat on and constantly check your system logs (just kidding, we know you don’t do that), this is a great resource for you. It covers everything you could ever want, and comes in a nice, clean PDF file to read. It looks extremely well organized and detailed, as you would expect from Apple.
