You’re amazing, we should talk

Apple has discovered a new way to find employees to hire for Apple Stores via their new enticement cards. The cards are simple and to the point—as you can see in the picture, they say “You’re amazing, we should talk,” on the front of the card to grab the person’s attention. Then, the person the Apple recruiter felt would be a nice addition to a store can flip the card over and find a paragraph explaining why. Finally, the recruiter can write in their contact information at the bottom.

According to ifoAppleStore, “Right now there are about 12,000 retail store employees, and with 35 to 40 stores opening each year, another 2,400 needed annually.” Talk about expanding, I can’t imagine how much stress that puts upon Apple recruiters. Although all these job opportunities are great for Apple and the economy as a whole, you sort of have to feel sorry for the recruiters. At least they will always have something to keep busy with.
