Mere Mortal Software introduces Inspire Me

Mere Mortal Software is now offering an application called Inspire Me. This software contains an online database full of inspirational quotes which it can display at certain intervals during the day using its interface or Growl. Additional quotes can be downloaded from the database, and if you want to use the built in interface, you have the option of a desktop widget, heads up display (HUD), or an overlay window that sits on top of all other applications. Juding from the screenshots, it appears the interface for browsing quotes online for this application looks a lot like the iTunes Store.

I love the idea of this application, and I’m sure it could really help one get some work done by keeping his/her spirits up. Hopefully the quotes are good, though, because I can never seem to find any good quotes by simply searching on Google.
