This post is part five of a seven part series covering the iPhone applications and games announced at the WWDC Keynote on Monday, June 9th.
Ever have the urge to jam while on the go? Do you have an iPhone? Well, with the new iPhone 2.0 App Band, you’re in luck. With Band, you can choose from a slew of instruments, ranging from Piano to Guitar to Drums, and, using the iPhone’s touch interface, rock to your heart’s content. Strangely, the developer behind this app, Mark Terry, works developing applications for an insurance company, but was able to create this spectacular program in his time out of work. I think that this will be a well received app for the iPhone and iPod Touch for those who like music (i.e., most users of the iPhone and almost definitely all iPod Touch users, after all, they both are made for the music).
