If you love XM Radio, its mobile service, and your iPhone, then you are going to love it when XM releases their XM Radio Mobile iPhone client for the SDK. This service currently streams the top 25 channels for around $9 per month to certain AT&T and Alltel devices. According to the Ars article, however, it is still uncertain when the iPhone client will be available, how much it will cost, and how it will be installed onto the phone (probably through the AppStore). Regardless, if you like commercial-free music at low prices, this is the service for you.
The SDK is about one month away, and I can’t wait until it arrives. With so many apps such as this one in development for the App Store and use on the iPhone platform, the functionality of the device is going to skyrocket. It is no longer just a phone made by Apple with awesome iPod integration, it is a mobile computer device with games and third party apps. The people are going to flock to this device for an easy to use, app packed experience.

Any information on when the XM Radio app for iPhone will be available. It sounds great and I am totally hooked on Fox News and would like to be able to listen to it on my phone. I also listen to some of the music channels and my son loves XM Kids.
