Maximum PC, a leading computer magazine, has announced Apple’s MacBook Pro as “Best in Class.” The writers over at Maximum PC say they are “taken aback” by how often they see leading PC developers on MacBook Pros at various conferences, and believe that ever since “…Apple swallowed its pride and embraced the x86 instruction set used by every other PC, its computers have been far more compelling given their ability to run a Windows OS directly.” According to their article, they only have minor complaints, such as the screen not tilting back far enough and the hard to get to hard drive.
Maximum PC sums their review up by saying, “In the grand scheme of things, these are fairly minor kvetches and the MacBook Pro is a surprisingly satisfying machine.”
It is nice to see an Apple product winning this award from a PC magazine. With Mac OS X’s ability to run both Windows and Mac operating systems, it is becoming a better option for PC power users everyday. The machines are built beautifully, but also powerfully, making them perfect for any user.
