SpeedyMacA new Mac utility, aptly called SpeedyMac, has been recently announced by Altomac. What the SpeedyMac utility does is speed up the process of opening documents, folders and applications, and even the loading times of webpages. Altomac brags about SpeedyMac taking a “totally new approach” when creating lists of recently visited webpages and documents where favorites are grouped by site and documents according to the applications used to create these documents.

In addition, SpeedyMac also provides quick access to common workflows involved when quitting applications, creating new folders and ejecting removable and external hard disks. Users can quickly access all of these in a “task” menu, and they can even create their own tasks and share them with other users of the Mac utility. To allow quick access of documents, SpeedMay has a “current item” menu where the location of the documents are listed.

For a $27 license fee, you can have this nifty application installed in your Mac running OS X v4.11 or higher. If you just want to take this utility for a spin and see how it works on your machine, you can download a 30-day trial installation.

The shareware utility comes with a “current item” menu that lists exactly where a user’s document is located on the hard drive, for quicker access. Speedy Mac requires Mac OS X 4.11 or higher and a 30-day trial version is now available for download. Licenses cost $27.00
