Remember the Apple Store Sydney opening? Apple gave out about 2,500 free shirts at this opening, as they usually do. What may surprise you about these shirts is that they are going for around $50 on eBay, with some of them even reaching as high as $150. That’s right, people are spending upwards of $100 on a free T-shirt. That’s what I call making some quick money. However, to be fair, these shirts are a limited edition and are also really neat looking. They are a blueish color, only come in size XL, and read “Stores Up” on the front with a cool iPod Nano wave.
Some Apple fans go crazy for these shirts, and even make a hobby of collecting them. For example, I remember seeing shirts from the Leopard launch also going for sale on eBay at around these same prices (I kept mine). It’s quite amazing how much people will pay for something that is originally free. I’m sure the people who made it to the launch and have decided to sell their shirts are pretty happy right about now.

Or you could do what I do and hit the Goodwill near your Apple Store once a week or so. I hit the jackpot on old Apple Store shirts everytime.
I don't sell them, though. I keep them; sometime even wear them. But I have an emergency supply of easy cash if I ever need it, since collectors will pay $20-$30 for them. Not bad for $2 a shirt
In fact, it is really a good idea for people who want fast money! But to some extent, I do not want to do this. Hope your next post about fast money!
