Edmonton Apple Store on the way

The West Edmonton Apple Store is set to open at 10 A.M. on Saturday, July 5th. More specifically, it will be located at 8882-170 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T5T 4M2, and driving directions are available for those of you who tend to get lost a lot. As usual, there are no workshops scheduled for this building yet, but the Genius Bar and other Apple services will be open to the public.

This will be the sixth Apple Store to open in Canada, giving our fellow Canadians yet another location to buy their favorite products. It’s a good thing this store will be open in time for the iPhone 3G launch, as that will help take some of the stress of other stores. However, I have a feeling the iPhone isn’t going to do very well in Canada thanks to the high price iPhone 3G data plans from Rogers.

For the rest of us, though, is there anyway to make July 11th come sooner?
