For those of you who are patiently awaiting your .Mac address to officially become a MobileMe address with all the nice, new features, the wait is almost over. On July 9th at 6 p.m. PT you will officially be able to sync all of your information to the cloud, using that wonderfully designed interface that was shown off and WWDC ’08. This means you will get that new @me.com e-mail address you have been waiting for, as well as double the amount of storage (10GB to 20GB for individuals). Are you excited?
One of the best parts about this upgrade is that Apple is making it super easy for the end users. Not only is this upgrade completely free, .Mac users will still have a fully functional @mac.com e-mail address they can continue to use. Apple will be sending an official e-mail to all of their subscribers to alert them of the change. Best of all, it works on every browser except Firefox 3, making it extremely accessible to both Macs and PCs.
