iPhone App Store also to be a ZappTek book store

Zapptek has announced an iPhone book store they are calling Legends, and it will be ready when the App Store launches this Friday, July 11th. These online books will appear in the entertainment section of the App Store, and each book you purchase will appear as a separate icon on your home screen. When launched, Zapptek will have a series of writing from the New York Times bestselling author, Michael A Stackpole, but they plan to add many more in the near future. It’s true, purchase an iPhone and get hundreds of books in your pocket.

With the iPhone, this app is able to make reading on the the beautiful 3.5 inch touch screen easy. You can easily invert the colors on the screen with a triple tap, as well as zoom and pan with your fingers to make the words larger. It even allows you to bookmark pages you would like to come back to later, and write notes on those pages. Pricing for Legends books will start with short stories for $1.99 and novels for $4.99. Look for it July 11th.
