iTunes 7.7.1 update released

Apple just released the 7.7.1 update for iTunes, alongside a mandatory update of Quicktime. Apple’s release information indicates that iTunes 7.7.1 “… includes fixes to improve stability and performance.” The last update for iTunes (version 7.7) was released on the iPhone 3G release date, July 11th.
You can download this iTunes update by opening Apple’s Software Update on Macs and PCs running Windows. The update weighs in at only 70 MB, and includes no other major fixes or features.
