How to perfect the Grid View
In a recent article on his personal blog, Adam Fisher-Cox has details on how he thinks (and now how I think) the new Grid View in iTunes 8 should work. I personally have had issues with the Grid View (details in my review of iTunes 8), and this has the potential to be the perfect fix for those issues. Take note, Steve Jobs, as this may be a great idea for you to take in to consideration for iTunes 8.1.

In the animation on Adam’s blog, the proposed changes for the Grid View replace the double-click to open a song list action. The initial look of the Grid View would remain, but when an album was clicked, instead of opening a list of songs, in a whirl of iPod Coverflow goodness, the Album flips over and expands into a song list, in a lay-over on the main screen.

I think this is a great idea, and with a bit of refinement, could actually be a plausible addition to the first iTunes 8 update.
