Get refurbished previous generation iPods on the cheapAt Apple’s recent Let’s Rock event, we saw the introduction of a few new iPods. First we had the bigger and cheaper iPod classic, then the colorful new lineup of iPod nanos, and finally, redesigned and cheaper iPod Touch. Now, you may be up to forking over the big bucks for a fancier way to play your music, but if features aren’t a big deal, Apple’s got a deal for you.

If you have headed over to Apple’s Refurb section, as I do periodically, you will notice some great deals on previous generation iPods.

The first deal is for the iPod classic. Now, you can get that device with 80GB for $169, $70 off of the original price of $249. Other classic deals include a 160GB device with a $100 discount, down to $249 from $349.

For the iPod touch, you have the option of either a $300 8GB model marked down to $179, a 16GB model for $239, marked down from $400, and finally, a 32GB model for $319, down from $500.

As for iPod nanos, there are a few options. You can pick up a 4GB model for $99, down from $149, or an 8GB model in most of the available colors for $129, down from $200.

The iPod shuffles are headed out on the cheap too, as no one was left out of the upgrade. You can now snag one of these bad boys for $49 as opposed to $79 for the 1GB model, or a 2GB model for $69.

Whatever your taste may be, I highly suggest you look here before investing in that fancy new iPod touch. ou can really save a big chunk of change on these refurbs.

  1. Good prices, but not necessarily news. I got a refurb 4gig Nano back in May for $99.
