Okay, I’m back on track. The new MacBook Air is built from a 2.5 pound piece of aluminum, but the end structure will be only 0.5 pounds.

Instead of building pieces into the shell, they carved the Macbook Air from one large piece.
The new system is “strong” and “robust.” The internal frame supports the system.
That’s the old way.
