David Pogue MacBook Review
David Pogue, the NY Times writer you all know and love, has gotten his hands on some new Apple products yet again. This time, it’s the unibody MacBook. And if first impressions mean anything, then I think Mr. Pogue is sold. His review over at his NY Times blog starts off by calling the machine “a thing of beauty” and ends with Pogue saying, “I love the new MacBook, I really do.” Like expected, Pogue’s only complaint with this line of MacBooks is their lack of a FireWire port.

In his review, Pogue points out the many advantages this line of the laptops bring. With a strong aluminum enclosure that is both sleek and environmentally friendly and a new graphics card, David says, “There are many changes to love.” After reading his review, I would have to say that Apple has managed to impress almost everyone with this refresh (minus, of course, the FireWire part). It can be hard to sell customers on a redesign, but Apple seems to have made this one very successful yet again.
