Neither Mac OS X Snow Leopard or Microsoft Windows 7 have been released to the public yet. They both promise to be a nice improvement from that last release of each OS and offer some interesting new capabilities. Despite not being on the market yet, The Onion decided that now would be a good time to compare them and see how they do against each other in some very important aspects. They have even created a nice, easy-to-read chart with their analysis.
As you can see, Mac OS X Snow Leopard gets a good rating in almost every column, whereas Microsoft’s Windows 7 is usually getting poked at and made fun of. Although this made me laugh inside, I’m fully aware that it’s not representative of what each OS is like. It does, however, provide a, shall I say, interesting comparison. I mean, come on, who hasn’t wondered how Snow Leopard would do in subzero weather; it’s named after snow anyways, right? All I can say is count me in for Snow Leopard, as I was one of those people who waited in line for the iPhone.
