Acrylic Software just released version 3.0 of Wallet, their secure storage utility for mac. Wallet allows you to store any confidential information, and protects it with a 256-bit encryption to keep your data safe.
Version 3.0 brings numerous new features and upgrades, allowing you to do more with this tool. Some of these features include Safari Auto-fill for web log-ins, syncing between multiple macs with MobileMe, and a new iPhone application that assists you in viewing your data securely on the go. The iPhone version can also sync with the Mac version, making sure your data is the same between devices.
I’ve done some testing of the new version, and so far it looks really great. Dustin, the developer, has done a really great job creating a new impressive interface for the app, making it a really powerful tool, overall.
Wallet 3 is available for $20, or for $5 if you already owned Wallet 2. The iPhone version is available for $3.99.
If you or someone you know is currently managing your passwords in an insecure way, make sure to take a look at Wallet 3; I’m sure it would also make a great gift this holiday season.
