This week, I refrained from picking any apps from the overwhelming number of flatulence related apps that all of the sudden burst onto the App Store. You’ll thank me for this later.
iMacworld – Going to Macworld with an iPhone or iPod Touch in your pocket? I know I am. Then you’ll need this app. With it, you can browse and search the exhibitors in a number of ways. It also receives announcements from the show’s organizers, like the one about Steve Jobs not giving the keynote. So download it now.
HP iPrint Photo – This app allows you to print photos wirelessly to some HP inkjet printers on your network. Not sure why you’d want to skip your computer, but maybe you’re in a hurry.
BilliardsLite – Get a feel for what billiards is like on the iPhone. There are some restrictions, but you can play around a bit before you drop some cash. When it comes to apps for my iPhone, I always have a hard time deciding if I’ll actually play it more than once, and these lite versions are great for helping me make that determination.
Chase Mobile – If you have an account with Chase Bank, then this is the app for you to do all of your online banking for free.
Awkward Silence – Be ready at all times with three sounds that will embarass your friends and make other laugh. There’s the crickets, a breeze and snoring. Too bad there isn’t Dave Chappelle’s stop talking orchestra.
DynoBox – Measure the speed, performance and power of your vehicle with this free dynometer for your iDevice. There are numerous units to choose from to measure with. To get the best, most accurate results, mount your iDevice somewhere in your car so that it’s free movement does not influence the data.
Google Mobile App – Just updated, now with bug fixes and…wait for it…enhanced version number. Just what we’ve been waiting for, a higher version number means a better app right?
