By now, it is old news that a new Mac Mini will be announced at this year’s Macworld. However, some more details have developed on this topic. According to AppleInsider, the new Mac Minis will support “… the Mini DisplayPort connector first introduced on unibody MacBooks but also a Mini DVI connector.” These two ports will allow the Mac Mini to have dual display support like the rest of the Mac line.
Although part of the reason for the addition of these features may be the new chipset that the new Mac Mini will supposedly be using, there are really no other guesses. That said, it will be a great addition to the lower end of the Mac line, either way, so I will be glad to see this feature make it to the Mac Mini line. Even though the Mac Minis don’t come with a keyboard, mouse, or display, they are a great idea for people who can’t afford the all-in-one model. This would make them all the more better!
