Macintosh

  • Yazsoft has announced Speed Download 5.1.4. Overhauled from top to bottom, Speed Download 5 redefines the Mac OS X download manager by combining four amazing products – a turbo-charged download manager with auto-resuming downloads, a fully featured secure FTP client, a file sharing utility with full encryption, and complete .Mac/iDisk/WEBDAV connectivity – into one small and easy to use application. And now with RSS newsreader integration.
  • app4mac has released the final version of Twin 1.0, a new online backup solution for Mac OS X. Twin is a true Mac product that preserves Finder info, resource forks, ACLs, Privileges and comes with an elegant user interface and a powerful assistant. Twin is very flexible, and compatible with most Internet servers: FTP, FTPS, SFTP, WebDAV, Amazon S3, MobileMe. It even supports offline backups to external drives.

  • Dare to be Creative has announced that it is offering a bundle of all their Mac applications, 75% discount off the retail price. The bundle includes Sponge, Yum, iArchiver, Renamer4Mac, ResizeMe, Dragoman, SlidePad and iCombiner. The bundle is available until end of May via Macsnack, the company’s bundle outlet site.
