As we approach the release of Snow Leopard, Apple continues to send new betas to developers to fix all the existing issues. One of the latest releases—10A402—contains some user interface improvements on top of the bug fixes. Apple has mostly been advertising this version of their operating system as a speed update with less of a footprint on your hard drive, so it is nice to see some UI improvements, even if they are minor.
As you can see in the images, Apple has made some recent improvements to both the List view in the Dock as well as the sliders that can be found on the bottoms of some applications. Although they are minimal, they are still fun to keep track of. With the release of Windows 7 and Snow Leopard coming up, it will definitely be entertaining to see what the final releases look like.

I just wish they'd get rid of the aqua blue scrollbars, and replace them with the iTunes more stylish matte blue ones on all native apps including Finder. I would also like the option to have dark Finder windows with white text as in iTunes and iPhoto. The background can be changed atm, but text remains black which is hard to see with dark grey.
The Aqua look is getting a bit old now.
