Apple announces a special one-day shopping event, this FridayAccording to Apple’s website, this Friday will see some great discounts and deals on the range of Apple products available. What’s more, every purchase made this Friday (commonly known as Black Friday), will have free shipping, whatever the total price comes to.

There’s no official information on the exact deals and offers that will be available on Friday. In the past, Apple has not released this information until the morning of the Friday. Last week, however, a supposedly leaked image made the rounds, appearing to show several detailed discounts available on Black Friday, with up to 30% off on all iPods and 25% of all Macs. Whether the image is genuine we’re yet to know, although it seems unlikely that Apple would give 25% off a new Macintosh. But hey, it’s Christmas. Well, almost.

If you’re thinking Apple for your holiday shopping, make sure you check out the Apple Online Store this Friday, November 27th, to grab the best deals, and remember to check back here through the week for the latest Black Friday and holiday gift ideas from Appletell.

  1. I'd say it's fake, the iMac screen is wrong – from how I interpret the green/white, in this picture the glass (inside green rectangle) doesn't go up to the edges like it did in the old one.
Though having said that, the shape of the mouse seems to be more 'magic' than 'mighty'…

  2. Rich,

The image used in this article is a screen capture from Apple's own website (http://store.apple.com/us). As you pointed out, the image doesn't match the current iMac, although if it did not highlight the edge of the screen, the icon would not resemble any Apple product.
