If you love the perennial holiday classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas, then you may find yourself tempted by the Grinchmas app. After all, it features the Grinch. But depending on your expectations, this game could leave you with a heart two sizes too small. Grinchmas is based on a very simple premise—aim and toss—with two modes: naughty and nice. In the nice mode, you toss presents at colored Who houses, matching them. In naughty mode you throw snowballs at loud Who houses.
The visuals are clear and cute, with the bright colors you would expect from Seuss. Sadly, the only part of the Grinch you actually see is his arm. The controls can be a bit sensitive, so expect to toss a few practice presents before you get the hang of it. You will have your snowballs (or presents) fling off of the screen, even if you flick it just slightly too hard. Left and right sensitivity is also a bit delicate.
Basically, this game is great if you want a quick, holiday themed novelty. If you want the challenge of a puzzle game or any sort of replay value, this probably isn’t for you. It will be an application you enjoy for a few days and then delete from your device in favor of more useful applications. After all, for such a limited feature game, 5.7MB is pretty large.

Everyone loves taking photos on their phone. iPhone users love to be able to play with those photos. If you want a fun way to Grinch your friends, this application may be exactly what you are looking for.
It allows you to take photos of your friends and insert them into Grinch frames. The frames include a wide variety of characters. So, go ahead and put your best friend’s face on max, the dog. You just meant that she’s loyal right?
If, however, you want to share the joke, this app lets you save and export your creations. Controls are zen simple. All you have to do is line up the face with the hole in the image. This makes it so easy that you can pass it off to your favorite kid in order to keep him quiet in the car.
