Like everyone else, Apple is getting into the holiday spirit with their latest iPhone ad for the twelve days of Christmas. The advertisement this time, with the same perfect hand, simply goes through a dozen or so iPhone applications to an altered version of the traditional Christmas song. As usual, it is pretty clever in the wording and applications chosen.
For those interested, the lyrics are as follows:
On the twelfth day of Christmas my iPhone gave to me:
12 cookies cooking
11 cards a sending
10 gifts for giving
9 songs for singing
8 bells for ringing
7 slopes for skiing
6 games for playing
5 gold rings
4 hot lattes
3 flights home
2 feet of snow
And an app that can light up the tree
Interestingly enough, Apple has also created a page dedicated to displaying the applications that are featured in their commercials. You can see it through iTunes by following this link. It’s good to see Apple having some fun with their commercials around this time, as well as giving some more developers the spotlight.
